Saving Money

PTLIA knows how hard you work for your money and wants to help you save as much as you can. In this Section, PTLIA will constantly be adding new information on how to get the best quality of service, for the least amount of money.

Everyday, most of us have to use certain services. We all need banks, money transfer services, doctors, hospitals, real estate agencies and all types of insurance including automobile, health, life, etcetera.

After we are finished working, most of us barely have time to relax or spend time with our families. Who really has the extra time to research the details of all of life’s necessities? Most of us usually rely on radio, television advertisements or a friends experience to make these important decisions.

In this Section, PTLIA will give you the information and choices to help you make the decision that is best for you.

In the United States there are a few sayings that are usually true. “You don’t get something for nothing” and “If it sounds too good to be true it usually is not”. Value and price are two completely different things. If you spend very little money and get nothing in return, that is not a good deal. If you are lucky, you can only hope to get what you paid for.

You must educate yourself on money matters before making a decision. What is good for one person may not be good for the next. Knowledge and information, allows you to ask the correct questions, to get the answers that are right for you.

Many times you may feel cheated when companies charge you more than what you thought you would have to pay. This is usually caused by you, the consumers, failure to find out how the companies policies apply to your situation.

When making financial decisions, always remember that the most important element of you decision is what you really need. After you have decided what you really need, then you can start shopping for price.

If you are asking a company for a price on something, remember to tell them the truth and give them all of the facts. This is the only way they can give you an honest price and prevent you have being disappointed in the future.

Please check this Section regularly to find out which topic we will be providing information about. Saving a little here and a little somewhere else, can add up to quite a lot of money over time.
